Lincoln watches the world go by this morning.

He rolled over at Grama and Grampa's house on Friday, front to back...and twice yesteday. But with the camera out today he declined, preferring instead to stand on the couch and gaze out the window (with a little help from Grama).

The sunny outdoors inclines this December baby to get some shut eye.

But he was wide awake for Jeremy and Marjan's visit this afternoon.

Today Linc is giving me a lecture outlining his distaste for sleep training. I do prefer this lecture format to the previous day's tactical maneuver--full scale tantrums.  However, the 72 minute reduction in crying time between yesterday's nap and today's suggests my own stratagem may be working in spite of his disapproval.

Today, for the first time, Linc happily stayed several minutes in his cradle after he woke up from a nap. Either the ceiling is getting more interesting, or he's getting more interested.
