I thought I heard it the other day. He was climbing around on the couch leaning dangerously close to the window and pointing: gha! gha! That's a car. I said. Car. C-a-a-ar. He repeated his "gha" several more times and I forgot about it. Then today, I heard it clear as day. Cahhr, Cahhr he said while pointing out the porch window. Cahhr. I called John in. Orson repeated it. It's official.
Orson's first word: car.
And judging from the fits of utter boredom he's having at this late winter moment, I imagine it is spoken as a wish. As in, get me OUT of here. In that car, please. Before I go insane and take you with me.
