memorial day hat

His sailor hat. One of many many paper hats being made on request these days. Eve's animals

A delightful surprise that arrived in the mail yesterday, all the way from San Francisco, yielded this one: "Ant ear. Ant ear! Where ant ear home?" Luckily, an explanatory book came in the box. Thanks Emily, Jeevan and Eve for making me look smart in front of my kid. And for making him smile for a good chunk of the evening. (He immediately put it together and took it apart 4,562 times.)
